John is a lifelong resident of Delaware County with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. In that time, he has worked with several major carriers. His agencies have garnered many national awards in recognition for both outstanding customer service and sales. He has recently sold his agency and relocated to the Poconos. He has decided to partner with Valor Insurance in order to take advantage of the changing market place and leverage the strength of the Valor team. He sees an opportunity to work with a market leader who is committed to service and growth.

John is licensed for property, casualty, life and health insurance in Pennsylvania , Delaware and New Jersey. He specializes in meeting the needs of his clients while using a variety of products and services. He finds joy in forming real relationships with his clients on order to meet their goals and budget. He will also be working with the Valor team to recruit and onboard new team members.

John is married to his wife of 37 years, Georgene and has three children. In his spare time he enjoys fitness training and enjoys spending time with his family.

Steve Karba lives in Bethlehem Township with his wife, Rachel, their son, Cayden, and their daughter Camryn. In Steve’s free time, he loves to hunt, fish, golf and be outside with his family. Steve grew up in Nazareth, PA and graduated from Bloomsburg University with degrees in Business Management and Marketing.

Steve started in the insurance industry in 2014, and is currently licensed in property, casualty, life, accident, and health in 10 different states. Steve started in the insurance industry as a personal lines specialist and serving high-net worth clientele. As he continues to serve his personal lines clients, Steve has since transitioned to specialize in commercial insurance and investment property portfolios. He is very detailed oriented and is great communicator, which helps him find solutions for complex risks for his clients.

Steve is the President and Owner of The Karba Group and is one of the founding Broker Partners of Valor Insurance. As a Broker Partner and Wholesaler, Steve continues to develop his own profitable book of business, while helping other agencies and producers who lack in depth access to the markets, as a Wholesaler.

Ryan currently resides in Nazareth, PA with his wife Laurie Nelson. Ryan and his wife are both Nazareth Area High School graduates. Ryan attended King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA where he received a degree in both communications and marketing. While at King’s Ryan was a 4-year letter winner on the king’s College football team and was voted team captain his senior season. Ryan has worked in the insurance industry for several years on both the corporate and agency level.

Ryan started his career working for a Fortune 500 insurance company in Cleveland, OH where he worked as a Marketing Specialist providing broker support in the Cleveland Area. Ryan then transitioned into a field-based sales role as an Insurance Broker in PA, NJ and NY. Ryan was also responsible for recruiting and developing new hires.

Ryan joined Valor Insurance in December of 2016 as a Sr. Insurance Consultant. At Valor Independent Group, Ryan specializes in commercial insurance, advising specifically on general liability and property coverage for small to mid-size businesses.

James Rauen, a Senior Insurance Consultant, joined Valor Insurance in December of 2016. He graduated from Notre Dame-Green Pond, then went on to East Stroudsburg University where he earned a bachelors in communications. When the opportunity to work in the insurance industry presented itself, he did not hesitate to jump on board. He started in 2013 with a Fortune 500 financial firm with a focus in life insurance. He has since transitioned his efforts and now specializes in commercial insurance and is licensed in property, casualty, life, accident health and fixed annuities. James is and excellent communicator and is primarily focused on serving commercial insurance clients where he looks to help find risk management solutions for mid-size to large businesses. 

As an active participant in the community, James serves as a Nazareth Blue Eagle Education Foundation Board Member and is a participant within the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber. He resides in Nazareth, Pennsylvania with his wife, Megan, and two Rottweilers, Bo and Eve. He is a sports fanatic, and dedicated Eagles fan!

Bob Stroble was born and raised in Easton, PA. After graduating from Easton Area High School, he attended Lafayette College. At Lafayette, Bob played center on the football team where the team won the Patriot League Championship his Junior and Senior seasons. Bob graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Bob would later attend Liberty University to get his Master of Education degree in School Counseling.

Bob entered the Financial Services industry immediately following his graduation from Lafayette in 2006. He obtained his Series 7, Series 66, Life, Accident, and Health licenses where he became an Investment Advisor Representative. Bob made a transition to the Property and Casualty side of the business in 2013. As a Senior Insurance Consultant at Valor Insurance, Bob specializes in Personal Lines and Specialty Insurance (Auto, Homeowners, Rental Properties, and Umbrella insurance) and works with several Mortgage Lenders in the area.

In Bob’s free time, he is a volunteer Easton Football coach. Bob began coaching football at his alma mater in 2009. In addition of coaching the offensive and defensive line for Easton Area Middle School, he is also the team’s Offensive Coordinator.

Bob currently resides in Palmer Township with his wife, Andrea. Andrea is a math teacher at Easton Area High School.

Marvin D. Snipes II is an insurance enthusiast who serves as a Partner and Sr. Insurance Consultant with Valor Insurance. Marvin is licensed in Property & Casualty, Life, Annuity, and Employee Benefits in various state throughout the East Coast. His professional focus has been to engage in the emerging day-to-day activities of the growing company, to work with existing clients, and to earn the privilege to work with new clients.

Born in California and raised in the City of Philadelphia, Marvin now resides in the Montclair, New Jersey with his lovely wife Stephanie Danielle. Both graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, PA, where Marvin shined as a star player on the football team and later as a co-captain his senior year. They often go back to campus to support and give back to the current students on campus.

In his leisure time, Marvin enjoys reading, expanding his knowledge in many areas with continuous learning, and spending time with his family including his two fur babies – Xyno (German Shepherd) and Sheadaux (Pomeranian).

Michael Gervasio was born and raised in Lindenhurst (Long Island), New York. Michael is a Lafayette College alumnus, where he was a member of the football team. Michael currently resides in New Jersey with his wife, Catherine and their three kids; EJ, Ariana and Sophia. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, working out and playing golf.

Prior to joining Valor, Michael spent 10 years in various roles throughout the industry, most recently as a District Sales Manager for one of the largest private insurance carriers in the country. He currently holds professional licenses in Property and Casualty, Life and Health as well as his FINRA series 6, 63 and 26 licenses. Michael is the President and Owner of The Gervasio Group and is an official Broker Partner of Valor.

Tadas Brusokas was born and Lithuania and moved to the United States well over a decade ago. He is the blessed husband of his lovely wife Irina and he has two beautiful children. Tadas is a 9-year award winning veteran of the insurance industry. Tadas holds property, casualty, life, accident, health, Series 6, and Series 63 licenses and he is licensed to operate in PA and NJ. Tadas’ office is located at 2811 Philmont Ave, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, where he owns the strip mall that his retail store front is inside of and he takes great pride in its presentation. Tadas also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance as well as a Masters of Science in Financial Engineering from Temple University’s Fox Business School. He also speaks four languages and has a very loyal client following in the Russian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian communities throughout the region. In his free time Tadas enjoys cross fit workouts, spending time with his family and the people of his community as well as leading conversations on Russian radio.

Kyle Simmons, a Pittsburgh native, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Lafayette College in 2012. Kyle balanced his studies, including a double minor in Engineering and Architectural Studies, with a stint as a three-year starter and leader on the football team. Upon graduation, Kyle returned to his hometown and opened and grew one of the most successful exclusive insurance agencies in Western Pennsylvania over the course of eight years. Recently, Kyle has made the transition to Valor Insurance as a Broker/Partner and purchased his own office building to house his agency. Through nearly a decade of insurance experience, Kyle has mastered the ability to help ensure all of his personal and commercial clients’ needs are properly met. As an independent broker, he is thrilled to have a wide variety of personal lines, commercial lines, and life insurance carriers to ensure every individual client is put in the best position.

Kyle currently resides in his hometown of Plum, PA with his wife Silviane Torres. In their spare time, Kyle and Si enjoy traveling, cooking, playing sports and being outdoors with their dog Pork Chop.

Andrew Shoop was born about an hour and a half west of Easton, in Danville, Pennsylvania. He is the younger of 2 siblings to his older sister, and 3rd of 10 cousins. Andrew attended Danville High School where he was a 3-sport scholar-athlete, playing football, baseball, and basketball. He then attended Lafayette College here in Easton, and was a member of the Leopards Football Program. Andrew went on to earn his B.S in Anthropology and Sociology as a member of the graduating class of 2013.

In his professional career, Andrew began by parlaying his time as a football player at Lafayette, into two professional seasons overseas. He played one year in Prague, Czech Republic, winning a National Championship. Followed by one season in Orebro, Sweden, finishing with a silver medal in his final season. Upon finishing his playing career, Andrew worked for several years in the golf industry. Specializing in the golf/restaurant management sector, polishing his skills in building relationships. He utilized that experience to make a jump into the sales industry, where he has now been for 4 years. Working through telecommunication sales opportunities, then to health insurance, now to owning his own independent agency as a broker/partner here at valor, Shoop Ins Group. Where he will be providing advisory services in the personal and commercial lines of property, casualty, and life insurance.

Andrew has spent his entire life engulfed in sports and athletic endeavors. It provided him with the background in team building, work ethic, drive, and perseverance that will be his motor to succeed here at Valor. Still an avid sports fan, he is a big follower of the Packers, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers respectively. He is avid sports memorabilia collector, enjoys losing in golf to his wife, and most often will prefer spending any excess time he has relaxing at home with his 3 dogs.

Leidys was born and raised in Santa Marta, Colombia City where she graduated high school and completed a 2-year Psychology degree at the University of Magdalena. In 2016 Leidys moved to the USA and has been residing in New Jersey since. Before becoming a licensed Property and Casualty producer, Leidys has worked multiple different jobs including a position as a cashier in a money transfer institution, as a call center broker in the e-commerce department of a Taiwanese hardware and electronics corporation which specialized in advanced electronic technology, and finally as a Customer Service Representative in an office that worked with health, property, and casualty insurance. After developing communication skills and knowledge throughout the years, Leidys decided to take a leadership role and obtain her Property and Casualty license to work as a full-time broker. She believes in the importance of being of service to the community as well as being committed to learning new dialects, cultures, and languages as she is currently learning French as her 3rd language on top of Spanish and English in order to extend her reachability. Leidys became a part of the Valor Family in March of 2021. She is a music lover and enjoys listening to and discovering new music in her spare time.

Jimmy Torres is an award-winning and bi-lingual Insurance Broker with over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry running his own agency for a Fortune 500 company. Jimmy has a degree in management and marketing and is licensed in Property & Casualty, Life & Employee Benefits and also holds his Series 6 & 63 Securities licenses. Jimmy is a Lehigh Valley, PA native born in Allentown, PA and raised in Puerto Rico until the age of 9. Jimmy is the oldest of 8 brothers, and a natural born leader which is why he took the leap in 2011 from a corporate banking to entrepreneurship. Jimmy is well known in the Hispanic community for taking the time to explain to his clients what they are purchasing and how their policies work. In 2009 he started investing in real estate and has done asset protection presentations at local real estate investors meetings which can be found on YouTube. In his spare time Jimmy enjoys traveling, playing basketball and running obstacle course races like the Warrior Dash.
